The Pamela Benton Band is a five-piece band performing her original music as well as a few of her arranged cover tunes such as Sting, Van Morrison, and Santana.
Pamela's music is can be described as Sting meets Nora Jones. Rock, Pop with Jazz influence.

Pamela Benton, Singer, Songwriter, Producer, Electric Violin, Lead Guitar. Band Leader and multi-instrumentalist. With 2 CDs out and more recordings under way, Pamela is currently performing her original works in concert with these band mates. "Nora Jones meets Sting", would describe her sound. Pamela studied classical violin and piano at San Jose State University. She has performed Light Opera, Baroque Ensembles, Jazz, Celtic Fusion and Rock/Pop bands. She is a studio musician and was on Donnie Emerson CD that reached 3 #1 songs on the European Country Charts. Her songwriting is all about fusing various genres, Jazz, Rock, Pop, Blues and Contemporary New Age.
Caylee Olson, Bass. The orchestra director at Flett Middle School in Spokane. She is a graduate of Whitworth University for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She is a classically trained bassist and has played with various jazz combos in the Spokane area.
Matthew O'Leary, Keys and Bouzouki. Keyboard artist, started his professional career as a studio musician in California. Over the years, he extended his musical horizons by performing with various bands in California, Washington, and Idaho, and ultimately establishing himself in North Idaho. There, he collaborated with both local and international artists. In addition to his piano and keyboard skills, Matthew showcases his versatility by playing instruments like his custom Seaboard Rise Seatar, Irish bouzouki, and Mandolin, adding unique dimensions to his musical repertoire.
Tyler Coulston, Electric and Acoustic Guitar. Tyler began playing guitar at the age of 13 after seeing one of his good friends performing Dave Matthews covers. He performed in the local music scene, participated in battle of the bands, and recorded two EP’s of original music with his bands. He directed his studies towards jazz and classical guitar in college.. He has also done session work for
commercials, and a short film. Currently he is working on his first full length instrumental
album.
Taylor Belote, Drums and Percussion. The Director of Bands for Deer Park Middle School and High School. He is one of the top-working percussionist in the Inland Empire, having been the principal percussionist with the Coeur d'Alene Symphony. Regular in theatre orchestra pits throughout the region, and performing in various gigs as a solo steel pan artist. Taylor holds a Bachelor's Degree in Instrumental Music and Performance, and a Master's in Teaching...
